What if I get an error that says invalid account number but I know the account number is correct?

Please check to make sure that you have not entered any invalid characters. If the issue persists, please contact our Support Team for help by calling 0709376000 or emailing support@kopokopo.com. 

Can I send M-PESA to an unregistered phone number?

No, the payment will fail. Safaricom does not allow the transfer of M-PESA to unregistered numbers as of 05 February 2024 (more on this here).
