M-PESA transfers

M-PESA transfers reflect instantly in the accounts being credited.

Bank Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT)

EFT transfers take 1 to 2 business days to the recipient's bank account. Your bank will mostly be in EFT mode.

Bank Real Time Settlements (RTS)

Real-Time Settlement are processed and completed within 1 hour and are not affected by weekends or public holidays. This makes RTS faster than Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments, which take 1 to 2 business days to reflect in the recipient’s bank account.

Please note that some banks may charge additional fees for Real-Time Settlement (RTS) transactions. We recommend checking directly with your bank to confirm any applicable charges.
