How to verify a settlement wallet

Android Guide

Step 1: Sign in to the Kopo Kopo Android app.

Step 2: Select Move Money from the menu.

Step 3: Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select My Accounts.

Step 4: Choose the specific wallet you want to verify and tap Verify Account at the bottom.

Step 5: Re-enter your account details and click Ok. Your wallet will now be successfully verified.

Web Guide

Step 1: Sign in to the web app at www.kopokopo.com.

Step 2: Go to the Payments tab and select My M-Pesa Phone or My Bank Accounts.

Step 3: Click on Verify Account.

Step 5: Re-enter your settlement account number and click Verify account. Your wallet will now be successfully verified.

USSD Guide

Step 1: Dial *681# on the registered phone number, select option 1 Manage Account and Send

Step 2: Select option 4 Verify Settlement Account and Send

Step 3: Enter your 5-digit PIN and Send 

Step 4: Select the wallet you wish to verify from the list provided

Step 5: Enter the settlement account details, confirm the details, and the account will be verified
