Send money to M-PESA phone number - Web guide

✅ Step-by-step guide:

1: Click the Move Money button, then select Send Money.

2: On the Payment Details page, click the From drop-down menu to choose the account you're moving funds from.
Then, click the To drop-down menu and select Send to M-PESA phone.

3: Click Next to enter the payment details. 

💡 The nickname field is optional and will simplify future payments and help you avoid paying to the wrong account. Adding a nickname pre-fills the phone number the next time you pay to the same phone number. 

4: Enter Phone number, Reason for payment and Amount. 

💡Tip: Tick Add M-PESA withdrawal fees to make sure the recipient gets the full amount after withdrawing cash.

💡Mark as Favorite to make future payments faster and easier.

5: Click Next to view your payment summary, then click Confirm & Send or Edit Payment Details to make changes. 

6: Enter the one time password (OTP) sent to your phone number then click submit.

You will see a confirmation banner on the screen, and you will receive an SMS and email confirming the payment has been sent.
