What is ‘Add Money’?
‘Add Money’ allows you to deposit funds into your Kopo Kopo account. You might want to use "Add Money" for several reasons, such as:
- Your till balance is low, and you need to make business payments.
- You want to quickly repay your loan.
- You want to request a payment from customers easily.
What options are available to Add Money?
- Paybill
- Bank deposit
- Sending a payment request to a Safaricom phone number (M-PESA STK Push)
How can I check my Paybill account number?
Your Paybill account number is the same as your till number. If you do not have a till number, we will guide you through the process of creating one.
How long does it take for funds to reflect in my account?
Payments made through M-PESA STK Push and Paybill are processed instantly. Bank payments, however, will reflect in your account within 2 days.
Do I need a till number to Add Money to my account?
You do not need a till number to add money to your account. Whether you have a till number or not, you can still deposit funds into your Kopo Kopo account using Paybill, bank transfer, or by sending a payment request via M-PESA STK Push.

Are there any scenarios where STK Push might not be available?
Yes, there might be instances where STK Push is unavailable due to downtime. In such cases, we will notify you so that you can use Paybill as an alternative or accept payments directly to your till number. Why do I need to create an account before using STK Push?
Creating an account allows us to set up a unique account for your STK payments. The payments you receive through STK Push will go directly into this account, becoming part of your available balance. You can choose to send funds from this specific account when making business payments.
What should I do if there is a delay in payments reflecting in my account?

Will I be informed once my transfer is processed?
We will notify you once your bank transfer has been processed and reflected in your account.
